Romms were decent size and very clean but the walls are very thin and we could hear everything around us. Food was good but there was a lot of flies about the conservatory and the resturaunt.
Nice and quite and the food was nice
It turned out to be a Best Western Hotel with all the disadvantages of those chains: Impersonal and unfriendly staff, after the dinner menu still hungry...
Location was perfect lovely relaxing hotel to return to at the end of a lovely day. Would definately return to this hotel again.
Could do with wider selection of dishes on the menu in the restaurant.
Quiet atmosphere. Efficent staff. Comfortable room.
There was a wheel missing of the bed which mean't sleeping at a slant.
The area is excellent. The hotel is very nice and the spa etc was very good
friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere, great hotel for a short break
The location is vert tranquil, food was lovely and the decor is traditional but modern.spa is gorgeous.
Location was good to travel to several detinations and return within the day.
The hotel was in need of some maintenance, window frames were rotten and windows would not close as a result. The cleaning could have been performed better.
close enough to loch lomond and easy traveling distances to other places
No atmosphere, poor housekeeping in the room
Helpful staff, pleasant room at a good price, wonderful food
Noise from function rooms and extractor fan
the staff were very very nice and could not do enough for us when we needed any help.
there was plenty of choice for breakfast but the eggs and sausages were not very good.
I asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel and they gave me one, which was much appreciated as there was a wedding on. The breakfast was very nice.
The friendly staff always willing to help and talk. The hotels its self was in a lovely picturesque location and near to Loch Lomand-and views just minutes away, virtually outside and across the road was a view point to the loch itself. The facilities were great and decor tasteful and modern. Was a cosy environment to unwind and relax in.
Only a slight comment-the day we arrived it was gale force winds, most of the village had been cut off via electricity. Our hotel luckily hadnt, but on arrival our room was quite cold, just wanted to feel a little warmer after a 6 hour drive up there. Also we thought the tea and coffee supply was a bit skinny and were forever asking for extras. Will also say the matress was quite firm for us but maybe thats our preferance for a softer one-Staff great and gave some portable heaters and always willing to help.Would definalty recommend this hotel as was clean and very good value.
